Rare Webbed Lounge Chair by Alvar Aalto
Finland, c1940s
A rare low slung lounge chair designed by Alvar Aalto in 1938 for the Villa Mairea, manufactured in 1946 for Artek. Lightly restored birch frame with a rich natural wood tone and new burgundy woven strap seat.
