Spherical Vase by Berndt Friberg
Sweden, c1950s
A rounded stoneware vase by Berndt Friberg with a high-gloss glaze in rich shades of purple and blue. The surface shows subtle variations in tone and fine speckling, with a lighter, almost iridescent blue at the rim where the glaze thins. Finished with a compact neck and signed “Friberg” with the Gustavsberg studio mark.
